I saw this tag on Tasha’s book blog, Head in the Clouds, Heart in the Books. I haven’t done a meme before, so I’m curious how this will go. Tell me what you think, should I do more?
1: A book that kept you up all night:
True story, I have only pulled an all-nighter once, but I do rather frequently stay up till past midnight reading (Even though my blog is reader all night). The book that jumps to mind is Cinder. I read each of the books the series (so far!)in one night, the day after the others.
2: A book that made me too scared to sleep
I don’t like to read scary books very much, but one that I remember clearly, from two years ago is The Tomorrow Code. That ghost fog plage had me hiding under my covers. *Shudders*
3: The book that made you go to sleep
I was falling asleep for the first half of ghosting. If I was the type of person who put books down, I would have stopped, but I didn’t, and the end was fabulous.
4: A Book That Left You Tossing and Turning All Night in Anticipation of its Release
I loved Septimus Heap, and I love this book!
5: A Book That Has Your Dream Boyfriend
Boyfriends… aren’t really my area; to use the words of Sherlock
6: A Book That Would Be Your Worst Nightmare to Live In
The Maze Runner. Specifically the world outside the maze. I’m either dead, crazy, constantly afraid, starving, or getting my head cut open.
7: A Book That Reminds You of Nighttime
Somehow, no books have people having a normal night of reading till’ the wee hours, and then staring at the ceiling. My night isn’t an interesting plot line (like my life).
8: A Book That Had a Nightmarish Cliffhanger
A literal cliffhanger? With Percabeth? The Cliffhanger. End of story.
9: A Book That You Actually Dreamed About
I dreamed I was at battle school, in an army, in a fight. It was awesome.
10: A Book Monster that You Would Not Want to Find Under Your Bed
A Griever from Maze Runner. Shudder
End of first book tag! That was really fun? Did you all like it.
I tag:
Shannon @Books That Love You Back
Hailey @Hailey Hugs Books
Aentee @Reads At Midnight
You! If you want to.
Also to the people I tagged, feel free to ignore it, if you don’t want to do it.
I loved all of the books in the Lunar Chronicles though for me Cress was the only book that kept me up all night. How’s The Maze Runner? I watched the movie only and I thought it was really interesting.

The Lunar Chronicles are totally the bomb! I really liked the Maze Runner, but from there, the series went down hill. I was super disappointed in The Death Cure, the third and final book. I still recommend reading the first one.

I haven’t read the Lunar Chronicles yet but I’ve heard such amazing things about it. Really can’t wait to get to it!
And you should definitely do more tags! 🙂

I love Augustus so much!! Why did it have to end that way?! John Green ruins lives.

I definitely agree with your first answer – I’ve read all of the books in one sitting so far (usually finishing at about 1 a.m.) and I absolutely cannot wait for Winter! Augustus Waters is my dream boyfriend as well… although John Green did a good job of assuring that that dream will forever be a dream, even if Gus was real… 😦
